ELMA JUICE //by Chris Penrose =================================================================== INTRODUCTION This is about apple juice and elma. Most of it is bollocks. =================================================================== DID SOMEONE MENTION APPLE JUICE? I open the fridge, reach for the apple juice. "WHAT?! MUM!! MMUUUMM! WHERE'S THE... oh, NEVER MIND." It's behind the salad dressing. What a funny name. 'Salad dressing.' What mook thought that one up? Anyway, I grab a glass, pour a cold glass of apple juice and go sit at the computer, start elma, play. =================================================================== HALF WAY THROUGH LAB PRO ...gonna make the bouce... yes.. YES!! What...? What is this? The apple juice. It's.. huh? "Chris.... drink me... c'mon.. i'm so tempting..." What? I look back at the screen. 'YOU FAILED TO FINISH!' Oh shit! "Ahehhehehehhh.. hehehehe..." The apple juice is giggling. Shut up! I grab the glass. Down the juice in one. =================================================================== I HAVE THE TASTE IN MY MOUTH I can feel it in my body. The apple juice has become me. And the game... elma. It has become part of it. Fruit in the den... play. Cross the gap, take the apple... mmmm.. apple juice. Turn, down the gap. Just like the apple juice, down my throat. I need more... or else I cannot play. The taste is fading. Esc. Run. Kitchen. Fridge. Glass. Pour. Drink... ahhh. Back to the computer. The taste in my mouth. Now I can play again. It helps me play... =================================================================== IT'S NOT APPLE JUICE No... it is a part of elma. Only while I play elma I get the most satisfaction out of apple juice. Mmmm.. satisfaction. What now? Loop de loop. I take another sip as I drop from the platform. One handed driving. I die. 'YOU FAILED TO FINISH!' Yes, but I enjoyed failing. I drink more. Play again. Off the platform, skip the loop, just like those professionals. Up the hill, across the land. The taste in my mouth. Finish... 'BEST TIME!' Yes.. the apple juice did that. It helped me play elma. The apple juice helped me play. Helped elma. The apple juice. Elma.. Apple juice... Elma... juice.. elma. Elma juice. =================================================================== //Chris Penrose
